Proper care helps your handcrafted leather boots age beautifully while extending their lifespan. Follow these simple steps to maintain the quality and durability of your Mandujano boots.
How to condition your boots?
We recommend using a water- based conditioner (Leather Balm) to prevent changing the color of the leather. For polishing, we recommend a neutral wax-based polish so that the color always matches.
How often should I condition my boots?
We recommend at least every 1-2 months depending on the about of time you wear your boots.
Steps
Cleaning
Brush dirt and dust with a soft horsehair brush. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow boots to air dry naturally.
Conditioning
Apply a high■quality leather conditioner a few times per year to keep leather supple and prevent cracking.
Storage
Use cedar boot trees to maintain the shape of your boots and absorb moisture between wears.
Resoling
Our Goodyear welt construction allows boots to be resoled, extending the life of your handcrafted footwear.
